Red carpet treatment for medical patients. You receive coupons, they explain everything and walk you through the process. They will even print and laminate your permanent card when you get it (since apparently Illinois couldn't spring for that). My first experience using my med card wasn't at all positive. I received no discounts, they didn't even really acknowledge me, I felt rushed and uncomfortable .Ascend staff make you feel seen and respected all the while being friendly and knowledgeable. I have had many different bud tenders and they have all been great. I literally can't say enough positive things about this place. They even have a separate parking lot for medical patients that's close to the building. Overall the staff go out of their way to make sure your experience is a good one.

I go to this location every couple days and every person is always so nice and helpful. I havent ever gotten bad vibes here. Today I went in and was having a rough day my bud tender pulled 3 dollars out of her own pocket to cover the credit card fee! I have never experienced such kindness. I used to not really care for this location but as of the past 6 months I do believe they have new owners or/and management and it shows! The prices certainly reflect fairness and most employees have a positive attitude! Being on a budget and finding good products is very important to me and now, I feel that I can afford to go to Ascend now and feel comfortable when I leave instead of feeling anxious and worried over how much money I just spent on my medication. I do hope that they only get better as each day progresses, growing each day into a very respectfully considerate and honest business! I do hope one day that they have a nice loyalty rewards program that I can take advantage of! It is very nice to have an option as nice as I do with Ascend!

This place is by far the best dispensary in the area. They are constantly getting better-with products quality, selection, and prices! The staff has always been great since they opened. Anyone who’s curious about this place have to place an order and see for themselves. In the midst of opening during a pandemic I would give them 10 stars if I could. It was fast once I got there. You have to park a little far, since their lot just simply can't accommodate the traffic they get. But it's barely a 5 minute walk and there's a shuttle that will take you there that comes by frequently. Once you get in, you're out pretty quick, especially if you place your order online which I recommend. Selection is pretty good and the staff is very friendly

If you are coming here for recreational use go to the gateway fun Park parking lot. It took us a little longer than I want to admit to figure it out. Once we were in the parking lot though the people were excellent so they'll guide you where to park you get on a shuttle they take you to the dispensary and then the people in the dispensary are even more wonderful. A little different than other dispensaries but that's okay maybe I'll save somebody a little time with this review. It's easier if you make your order online and make an appointment first but not necessary.

If you go into this with an open mind and some patience I think you'll have a great experience as well. Connor at the parking lot was awesome and got me in very quickly as well as all the other employees working the front end of the store. My bud tender Adam was super courteous and was happy to answer all my questions, had my order within minutes and I was out of there. The whole process was about 15-20 minutes. All in all I think they are doing their best and will continue to improve with our help and patience as customers. I just hope they'll be able to recognize out of state medical cards soon

Other than price, I am pretty satisfied overall with my now 3 visits here. Every employee I encountered was incredibly helpful, genuine and positive. The first trip was a bit confusing due to the ordering/pick-up process. That was mostly my fault. I'm from out of state and didn't bother checking the website. The next 2 times were a breeze. If I could suggest anything it would be to carefully read the instructions on their website and be on time for you order.

They shift product lines, so on any given day, you don't know what is available. The shuttle to and from, combined with covid precautions and buying experience causes a simple thing of buying product to become long, and exacting. Still, very glad to have a store within an hour's drive from my house, and will go again. I just wish it was simpler, with no ID necessary. I am who I am, and I just want some pot once in a while. I really wish more dispensaries would open up in Madison county but that just doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon thank you JB pritzker.The reason why they got four stars is because the people that work there don't always have gusto to stand up to other customers that want to jump in front of the line. Especially in front of medical customer, they goes first no matter what and if the other person is Medical and they try to jump the line when you're Medical and their employees aren't saying anything then you get a fight and that's what happened when I was out there. So it's like I wrote them a letter they said they would fix it they responded quickly just when you go there make sure that you have your mask on make sure that you can stand up for yourself and if anything happens make sure you report it.

Don't expect efficiency or reliability. They force you to schedule a pickup time, but rarely is that pickup true. I pulled in at my forced pickup time and was told I'd have to sit in the parking lot for an additional 45 minutes past my forced pickup time. Would have been helpful to know when I placed the order. For what I pay, I expect much much more.

This place is amazing! My first experience with a dispensary and it was a great first time experience. I did want to say, I read on the website that a couple people had issues with cartridges. When I got home I tried all 3 of the ones I purchased and I thought they didn't work BUT, when I took a qtip with a little isopropyl alcohol and cleaned my battery where the cart screws on to, THEY ALL WORKED PERFECTLY!!! so the issue wasn't the cart, but buildup on my battery. *OWNERS* I'm thinking others probably have the same issue, so maybe give that as a tip so you dont have to lose money replacing carts that really aren't defective. This place really was awesome and the people are so friendly! Will be back soon! I would recommend to everyone and the products are top tier! Thank you all even the parking lot people and shuttle bus driver were really cool!

This place is incredibly expensive (double what I'm used to from other dispensaries), the website is SUPER inaccurate, and some items have information about the product missing or no description at all, the staff that's directing traffic is rude, unhelpful, snippy, didn't explain what we needed to do, and will cut you off before even trying to listen to you. Very inconvenient pick up process that the website doesn't explain well AT ALL; I wasn't informed my appointment time itself doesn't matter, and I'd have to wait at least another hour in a parking lot 5 blocks away before I can even board the shuttle to go to the building itself. Staff made your customers feel annoying and inconvenient before even getting out of their car. I understand repeating yourself to multiple people can be draining, but if its that big of a deal then maybe update the website so it actually explains the (inconvenient) process of getting your order.*Edit: The inaccurate website information/descriptions led to me purchasing a strain that isn't exactly ideal for my medical issues that I use cannabis for. Made an online order and proceeded to pickup at my scheduled time slot. When I got to the counter to pickup was informed that out of state customers are only allowed 250MG of edibles (1/2 of Illinois residence). But their website is completely SILENT yo this "rule". Very disappointed to go all that way to be limited to half. To top it off, they only offer edibles in 100Mg packaging so I can only get 200mg. I would have brought spouse if was just given that information on their website.

I am so incredibly grateful for Illinois Supply & Provisions and all of the staff there. This was the first of several dispensaries I have been to and now I am here weekly picking up my meds. Before I got my medical card and spoke to the staff about varieties that may help with my autoimmune disorders I spent every moment of every day for a decade in serious pain. I also didn't consider medical marijuana until my doctor prescribed Lyrica and the side effects were too devastating. Now, I know exactly which strains will help with pain, anxiety, muscle weakness and spasms, and insomnia without any unwanted side effects. I love the shop and for the most part the employees are quite friendly. The ones who have been there since they opened are especially personable. There is only online ordering available due to the COVID-19 climate. This actually makes things smoother. You place your order, choose a time slot, then arrive at your time to shuttle to the dispensary. There were long lines initially, but the process is quite refined now. The only point I will mention is that these products are way too marked up. The same cartridges they are selling for $65 are only $28 in Colorado. Two different industries I know but it's hard not to feel a tad ripped off here. The edibles are reasonably priced.

The walk from the parking lot is pretty long, so if you have mobility issues, like I do, there is a shuttle that runs about every 5 - 10 minutes. Using the app to order is easy, as was making the appointment time. Very important, be sure to enter your appointment time information quickly as the spots fill up fast.

I had my first experience with this dispensary yesterday, and definitely had some pros and cons. Unfortunately the recreational menu is VERY limited and expensive, but that’s due to how new rec is in Illinois. Overall my experience with the employees was fantastic! Everyone was kind and had a positive attitude, even the shuttle driver! The inside was clean and organized. Once regulations on marijuana and covid relax a bit, this will be a great dispensary to check out!

Have medical cannabis card (due to MS) and the staff have been kind and helpful, treating me like a patient to control symptoms and make life easier. Since the State (IL) legalized marijuana, there were adjustments made to the facility, understandably. However, this did not interfere with treatment. The dispensary was able to provide medical and recreational assistance, especially throughout the COVID19 pandemic, safely, effectively, while maintaining a high (no pun intended) quality of products and services. An A+ all the way around.

Terrible experience every time. There is no phone number to call and speak with anyone who works here. You can only place orders online. They have poor communication with their customers and amongst employees. They post signs all over their shop to review them on google, and then don’t respond to customers who relay negative feedback. Every parking lot worker I have encountered is unpleasant and snippy. One day recently, they closed the shop because of the weather, but didn’t relay that message to anyone who placed an order online. I followed a few cars in front of me, because the boy directing traffic at the entrance was motioning to move forward. We pulled in the next lot and got out of our cars to join a group of people talking to a parking lot staff member. He was the messenger, to tell us they were closed. I think that wasted a lot of people’s time, and we never received an email about picking up our order the following day, like the parking lot staff member told us. One out of probably 40 trips to this specific location have I been able to actually go to the building within my scheduled pick up time. Although marijuana is decriminalized, the whole process almost makes you feel criminal. You have to walk in single file lines, follow the arrows, step up when called—all these cameras on you the whole time? I have been to a myriad of dispensaries in a number of states and this by far made me feel the most uncomfortable. The prices are also just completely outrageous. $70-$80 for an eighth 🤢 I only pay it when I have to because damn it feels like robbery

Prices are what they are but it is mostly the STATE to thank for that. Of the 10 states with legal recreational, IL has the 2nd highest state cannabis tax(shockingly). Springfield lawmakers have yet to learn the lesson that money walks. And not just to other states. Sometimes, it walks right past the legal dispensary with a 40% tax rate and into a dealer’s house. Just ask CA, where rec was legalized in 2018 and where 80% of sales still come from the black market.

I’m down from 20 pills to less than 10 a day, and my pain , nausea has been controlled. I never thought of this as medicine until I started going to IL S&AP... Just went to this establishment for the first time today. Decided to wait for a while and then the epidemic hit. I had a really great experience! All of the staff was very forthright and friendly and understanding. Their procedures for recreational and medical, although different at first, wad easily navigated once I was pointed in the right direction by their friendly staff. The staff working in the recreational parking lot was extremely helpful and kind with helping me guide through their menu to figure out which product I need. Definitely will be returning again!

System for online pick-up works well. I placed my order 24 hours ahead of time, and followed clear instructions for parking and shuttling to dispensary. The website and confirmation emails encouraged payment with debit card to make it safer. However, they didn’t mention anything about a $3 transaction fee when you use your debit card... I would have just brought cash. It seemed like a sly maneuver to get an extra $3 off everyone. Will bring cash next time.

I have been a weekly customer since the first. 3-5 grand in 4 months I have spent and it seems that the rec customers have become a burden to this place. They treat us like cattle at this point. I know the system is new but the way management responds to issues is very poor. I bought 2 quarters of flower listed as 26 percent online double checked with the associate and received 14 percent quality. You can’t touch or look at anything I might add. Today I ordered online drove 5 hrs in state just to be told they sold out my order and they could replace. There offer was the same amount of flower but instead of 28 percent it would be 13 percent. Are you kidding me? If I wanted Reggie I would go get it for an Eighth the price than the Reggie they offered. The staff get 5 stars management needs to step up. Money power and greed is on the mind here, they won’t make a mistake right or respond to an email at the least!

Overcharged. And won't answer emails! We went on 3-15. Bought 6 packs of mints between myself and my husband. They were marked $25 on the live menu. We were charged $29 for each one. I thought the total seemed high, but didn't think to look at prices on the receipt until we got home. I even double checked the price in live menu when I got home, still said $25. I emailed though a link on the website, for 2 days with no answer. I found another link that allowed me to email directly, they finally answered and asked for pictures of the receipts. I immediately sent what they asked for. They haven't responded since 7 days ago. It's been over week and many, many, many unanswered emails ago.I know it's been a crazy week. But they have not stopped selling to make more money. I can only assume they have stolen my money and plan to keep it! That was $20, plus 28% taxes on that.

To preface — we’re still in the first 3 months of legalization — lines will be long, prices will be high, and kinks in the system are still being worked out. Be patient, the state will catch up with demand and demand will even out as it has in other states that have legalized. That being said, this Collinsville location is really great. On weekday mornings, the line isn’t so bad, and they’ve started providing coffee & pastries in their fancy new tent that houses the outdoor line. The selection is thorough and extensive, I’m a huge fan of the cartridges. (Check out their live menu online for their daily rotating selections!)But the best part really is the staff — kind, attentive, understanding, very knowledgeable, and just darn friendly! Everyone who works there is wonderful and makes the experience so much smoother and more enjoyable. This will be my home dispensary until MO decides to legalize!

SO THEY SELL HIGH QUALITY CANNABIS LEGALLY BUT IN THE LEAST ENJOYABLE WAY IN THE COUNTRY. It's not just them to be fair, it is the whole state of illinois, all dispensaries in the state are as terrible as the state's legalization law. I have been to five other states with legal marijuana, CO WA NV CA and MI, and the prices/taxes are half for the same products and they have literally 10 to 20 times the products compared to IL. Really not worth it, if you live around here keep going to your local guy.

Went on a Wednesday from 1:30-3:00. The entire process took 1.5hrs. The selection is horrible: No concentrates, limited eatables, and only one type of flower. The flower I purchased was $65 for 3.5g. The weed is fine, but the buds are very small. They are so small, it makes it difficult to even visually inspect the weed properly. Looking at the label, it lists the product as "popcorn", which means B-grade, small buds. This was not listed on the menu as "popcorn", and I feel it should have been. At no point does the customer get to read the package during the process or even see the products until they hand you the bad after purchase. Also, the menu for the day was the same as online. When I went before, the menu they handed out included additional items that were not listed online - not the case this time.

Where do I start. So first off I'm going to say that for rec being less than 2 week old, they did a fairly decent job of entertaining us while we waited, were friendly, and got us though pretty quick. Start to finish about an hour, but Denver took 45 minutes and you got to see product and hold product before you buy. Here you don't get to do that. Everyone knows about the prices being outrageous, but here's my issue. My flower was dried out. Not just one container, but 2 containers of flower dried out. Which caused my flower to burn up quicker, and since I'm from out of state I can't just go back. When I did smoke the flower it had a very chemical taste to it that never went away. Then I compared my vape cartridge's from Denver to theirs and theirs is smaller and 2-3 times more expensive then Colorado. If you're in a pinch and have extra money to blow this place will do.

The guard and position of exit makes you feel a lot safer.Although everyone was nice, Tomi, my cashier, was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to find what I was looking for and I actually felt served. Thank you, Tomi. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that products are super expensive and my Blue Zkittles cartridge is low quality.Exceptional service. I will check back when prices are lowered.

Please educate yourself on dispensaries. Read accounts from former "bud tenders" (aka, glorified cashiers) on various forums. They are allowed to lie to customers and withhold better product for staff. Anyone who buys here hopefully only does so because they do not have access elsewhere. I feel for you if that's the case. The crowd was calm, there was a DJ spinning some great tunes. When we got to about 5th in line, a different employee (white male with flat top buzz cut) stepped in to help. He started making people step behind the line, and reminded me of a cop. They were only over the line by a foot or two, and there was still a good 8 feet of space to the security guard who was controlling when the next group could go in. The vibe definitely changed when he stepped in.We finally were allowed to step into the building. We found another winding line, but were glad to finally be indoors. When we got closer to the guard and locked door, a couple of employees started taking orders. I was very frustrated that while we were giving our small order, six people from behind us in line (not medical patients) were allowed to walk in ahead of us. That just isn't fair.

Friendly staff got you in and out in a flash once the line reached the store, and considering how long the line was, it moved reasonably briskly. Got there at 9 out by 11:30 on the 4th day. Reasonable selection of carts only one flower right now that is a reasonable strain. Given the supply and demand, they have done a good job. It would be nice if they would, though perhaps rent one of the empty lots nearby and ran a shuttle since there really is no nearby parking; had to walk about a mile away to park and it will likely be a good while before you can get on their lot.

But for those looking to buy bulk like you would from your dealer don’t waste your time! I believe the prices were fair for the edibles but for the flower? I’d have to say it’s a bit steep. I had no desire to purchase and of the vape cartridges or any or that but I noticed the prices for those were a bit high as well. Look all I have to say is that this is something where they can put a big price on it for a while because they know they are going to profit. So if you don’t want to spend the money on great quality I suggest you stick to the streets. But treat yourself every once in a while to some pure legit bud and edibles you won’t regret it!

I was willing to drive an hour up to Springfield just to avoid this place, that was how bad the reviews were influencing me.. Took the chance and came to this location January 1st. To be expected, the line was insane, however, they handled it perfectly. Everyone was nice, informative, and caring. They were walking around handing out hand warmers, information sheets, and answering questions someone may have. Their security was also walking around checking on people, making sure they didn’t need anything. Got in line at 6:00 am (I was middle of the line & about a mile long, maybe slightly less).Store opened at 7:00 am, I was in and out by 9:00 am et. They handled this process immaculately. Don’t let the bad reviews deter your opinion, be your own judge. If you have a bad experience, so be it and move on. At least you tried. Prices are a little high yes but at the end of the day you either accept and don’t and try somewhere else.

I have been there 3 times during a big rush of people and they have no organization to get people through in a timely fashion. after being closed for 3 days they should have known it was going to be a busy day and prepared for it but that was a big fail. they had plenty of staff there but when most of the time it was 2-4 people standing around looking at a list trying to figure out who is next you know they are not prepared. most people took a number and were told they would get a text 20-30 min before there spot in line was up but that was a cluster to. I got my text 5 min after they called my name so if I would have gone home they would have been closed by the time I got there. my advise is after January 1st if u see a lot of cars in the lot go to a different place or risk waiting for 3 hours as hundreds of us did today.
