Cannabis dispensary director named Pontiac Regional Chamber Member of Year – The Oakland Press

The Pontiac Regional Chamber announced the Cornerstone Member of the Year – Mike Beck, Common Citizen’s director of community and government affairs.

“Pontiac is a vibrant, welcoming community, and I am truly honored to receive this award on behalf of Common Citizen,” Beck said. “I look forward to my continued participation with Chairman Damany Head and the entire chamber team during Common Citizen’s ongoing expansion across Michigan and beyond.”

For the past two years, Common Citizen, a Michigan-based cannabis dispensary, has participated in the chamber’s Christmas Basket Drive, hand-delivering baskets filled with food, clothing and toys to those in need in the community. Beck was honored with the award at the Pontiac chamber’s recent virtual ceremony.

“Mike represents our commitment to Cannabis for Humanity, which means serving the unique, individual needs of all our medical patients and adult-use customers,” said Common Citizen CEO Michael Elias. “He is a true ambassador in our ongoing mission to serve the common citizen, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition.”
