We trundled east into the depths of Camberwell on Monday night, and enjoyed another evening of live music at the Old Dispensary pub.
This traditional old Irish boozer hosts Hank Dog’s weekly acoustic sessions, which take place every Monday.
They’re a laid-back and friendly kind of affair, with none of the muso-snobbery seen at many jam sessions: if all you can do is hum a tune or rattle a shaker, you’ll still be welcome, and no one’s going to be impressed with a face-pulling freeform jazz odyssey performed on a five string fretless bass.
Here’s some photos from the night:
Hank Dog’s acoustic jam takes place every Monday from 10pm-1am. Admission free.
