The employees were super nice and accommodating to any and all. We waited in line for 4 hours but once we got inside we... were in and out and they answered any questions we had. First off, even though quite busy- I was moved through the line quickly. The options were amazing, so much to choose... from. I have to give Alexander a shout out, not only were they helpful but on a whim I asked a question about a local pub..( I’m a nervous wreck in areas I’m unfamiliar with). They explained to me where it was, what they parking situation was- clearly above and beyond what their job requires. I appreciated it probably more than they will know. So, boss person- give that kid a raise. It speaks of the kindness of this person, but also the environment they’re in. Thanks, keep up the good work!read more

I use the flower for severe chronic pain in my neck. I don't have a medical card so I'm probably missing out on better... flowers that help with pain, but the flowers they sell for the public at least helps me fall asleep at night faster. Please be responsible smoking or using edibles. I don't recommended using machinery that needs a sober mind or using it at work. It's best for Leisure time at home or a friend's house. Have a sober driver take you home.read more

i had been having a really rough week after having ankle surgery. I had called to see if curbside pickup was an option.... The lady said unfortunately due to illinois laws, they cannot offer curbside services. she also said "hope you feel better queen". upon arriving to pickup my order, the security guard offered me a wheelchair and opened all of the doors for me! Really kind and wonderful service here. They turned my day around for sure. Love being a medical patient and having Sunnyside as my pharmacy!read more

Prices are a bit high, but I manage & just shop here because the products are decent.However lately I haven't even... been able to put an order in at all. The site says the ordering window will be open at the top of every hour, yet even if I'm on there exactly at 3 or 3:01 the window will still not be open.So I have products in my cart picked out that, since I can't even put a order in, might not be available by time I can. Too many security guards at that location. Plus you also have the police parking across the road at Taco Bell to... “police” if anyone gets over 500 mg of a certain item. I’d go back because Abbie was outstanding. She was smart, very informative and yes she was pretty hot!read more

Everything I've tried has been great. The descriptions are spot on when available. For recreational buyers, You Must,... place your order online before arriving at the store. Very easy to do. Friendly security and staff. The side parking lot is for medical customers only. Recreational users must park across the street and you can wait on their shuttle, which they prefer, or you can walk across the street at your own risk of course.read more

Im a realist. With that said not only was Elise a ball of smiling positive energy but she helped change up my order... when getting to counter. I eagerly tried donating tip for teams service but was denied😢 The team was flawless and well tuned at moving efficiently to keep customers and myself well served. Sunnyside Champaign has not once let me down from the parking lot shuttle driver and van to the smiling and warm vibes from both security guards. The process getting to Elise was smooth and pleasant. Well set up for social distancing, like having to where masl even inside. Found the person that waited on me pleasant... and informative. As far as flowers go you have to go online to their ordering site, order, receive a confirmation that your order has been opened, then you have to wait for the confirmation that your order is picked up, those using medical cards are first or moved up in line.read more

Terribly mismanaged. I placed an order earlier and received an email confirmation that my order had been placed.... However, I never received an email stating that my order was ready. Over 2 hours after placing the order, I sent an inquiry to Sunnyside to check on the order. A few minutes later I received an "order canceled " email. No explanation or apology. Nothing. This was not my 1st issue with their customer service. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the past couple months, but I don't think I'll be giving them anymore business.read more

The employees at Sunnyside were patient and kind with me during my first visit. I was looking for relief from a chronic... issue and they guided me appropriately. The process was smooth except that I couldn't remember my debit card pin number which resulted in me having to leave and come back once I sorted out the issue. The employees were helpful and welcoming in spite of this and made what could have been a very intimidating experience much less so. While there are several security guards, they went out of their way to be friendly.read more

The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the customer service is great from the people at the... counter.The line, while not that long physically, took 2.5 hours to get inside the building (while it was snowing all the while). The only solace was a small gas heater at the very front of the line. Won’t allow you to stand under the roof for some sort of relief from the weather - claims someone from Chicago will halt all sales if they see someone standing by the back door (yet there are construction workers in this area at all times and smokers were allowed to stand in that area with no problem apparently...Instead of letting one person out and one person in, they wait until 5 RECREATIONAL users have left and then they let 5 in. Wait time for a group to go in varies from 5 minutes to 35 minutes depending on how many med users go in in between. It would absolutely flow better to simply have a constant flow vs letting a group in, but I guess that’s just me.When you get in the building, if you have a temporary paper ID...good luck. Even though it is legal in every sense of the law, you can use it to buy alcohol etc, they will ask if you have your EXPIRED plastic ID instead, even though it’s no longer valid. In the end they’ll let you in, but it takes a bit of arguing.Employees seemed to have no idea where many of the products are.Two managers just sit around and verify sales (when they’re actually working...one of them spent a good amount of time running around to Starbucks etc instead of actually working).You exit from the same door people enter from which makes it a huge pain to get out of the building, as at this point, they prioritize letting people in rather than letting them exit.Parking is an absolute joke. Getting across Neil is a joke. Someone is going to get hit by a car trying to cross over sooner or later.read more

Friendly staff helping out where... they can and also informing us about the product available to us recreational user's. From a neutral perspective as I do not indulge in this activity ... I accompanied a friend on this excursion out of... curiosity. I would NOT RECOMMEND this dispensary. There are absolutely NO convenient available parking options. All parking in the area is clearly marked, private parking, violators will be towed. After driving around for over 40 minutes and legally parking over 1/2 mile from the dispensary, there is only one crosswalk option a half block from the facility that is enforced by very cordial plain-clothed officers. I dropped my friend off at the crosswalk to continue to find parking and meet her at the facility ... only to discover there was a 5 hour wait and the facility stopped allowing people to to enter the line at 4:00pm (My friend arrived at 4:05pm) due to a 10:00pm closings time. The facility staff was not eager to provide facility information and questions were answered with curt responses. Final assessment = Don’t waste your time with this facility. The inconveniences and lack of information aren’t worth it. There has to be better options elsewhere!read more

As someone who has never been to a dispensary of any kind I'm so glad I chose Sunnyside for opening day and they will... continue to be my go to. Opening day was awesome. Sure I waited in a long line for hours in the cold but I expected that. What I didn't expect was employees handing out hand warmers, coffee, and even pizza. The entire staff was friendly and kept giving us updates. They have a great dm selection of products there as well. I look forward to going again very soon.read more

Whatever you do- avoid this place at all cost. I have a broken back and can’t stand in one spot for too long. I tried... calling numerous times to see what can be done about it, but all you will get is a machine. This morning, I thought I could get there before anyone else at 5:30am, and they changed their opening time to 10:00am. So I went back at 8:30am to make sure I can get a good spot, and the place had another four hr waiting time. The security guard (who seems to have more knowledge than the management) , said it opened at 9:00am. I’m in tremendous pain and can’t get my medication because this place doesn’t have good management (go figure). So save yourself some time, money, stress, and pain. I’ll have to wait until I’m back in NY to receive the care I need.read more

I was so pleasantly surprised how well opening day was at Sunnyside. I've been to other cannabis-legal states, to... southeast Asia, Amsterdam, and other friendly locations, and Sunnyside was as good as, and mostly better than, any dispensary I have ever visited. We drove 2 hours on New Year's Day to take part in history. We got in line at 4:20pm and they told us we might not make... it before the cutoff at 10pm because the POS kept bogging down. We were the next group that would have gone in at 5 till 10 and the people around us were angry and nasty to the staff, volunteers, and security when they couldn't get us in in time. We were appalled. They had been nothing but honest, kind, fun, and professional. We're disappointed that we didn't make it in but we are grateful that everyone involved in this rollout did everything they could for everyone who waited for hours. We got 2 reusable bags and a pizza, met some new people, and were there to see it happen because of these people. THANK YOU!read more

I give this place credit today when it came to customer service! The staff was friendly and informative. They had a... good selection of the different varieties of cannabis products they offered. Prices are decent. I don’t care what any one says the stuff on the street isn’t the same as the quality you will find in a dispensary. Every thing is labeled with manufacturers and potency. They even fed us all pizza while we waited. Well done sunnyside. As for giving rainchecks they sure did at about 3 pm they started giving out priority day tickets to everyone who came. They were very clear that the state time frame for sales would come before they could serve.read more

I dont usually write reviews but I had with this place. Employees are great but this place is making a big mistake by... combining medical with recreational. I live an hour away and checked there website and it showed they had mine instock and now you cant order on there website so I tried to call, no answer. So I took my chances and drove down there to find the one gram they had left of mine they couldn't sell because are saving it for the recreational. I guess the medical people that truely need it are on the back burner for people that wanna get high for fun. I will be looking into other dispensaries that focus on medical patients. This company made a big mistake and I sat there and watched a few people get upset with this. I edited this review because it used to be a positive one.read more

Right now 12-26-19 Sunnyside website says updated hours open 8 to 8, drove over an hour to get my medicine, front door... says closed for construction and won't be open until Monday and it's Thursday! Switched to NuMed along with a throng of frustrated patients doing the same as me. I know Sunnyside is owned by Cresco Labs but still this Corporate Attitude is in complete contrast to your hippie customers. If your reading just know this could of been you.read more

Since its the only dispensary in town i figured they would be arrogant and rude since they dont have competition. I was... wrong. Very wrong. These guys are so helpful and nice. I mean everyone from the security guard to the person in the back office. More importantly they are very knowledgeable about the product they sell. They always make the correct recommendation and are willing to offer guidance when needed. I have been going here fot three years and i have never had a complaint. Well except when they were understaffed on April 20th and i had to wait an hour in line. You'll be happy here.read more

I dont usually write reviews but I had with this place. I have been going here for about 4 months and every time I go... in, they are very very friendly and so helpful. I'm always asking questions about different strains and they never act like your putting them out, they explain it in detail. Very knowledgeable. I love just simply being there, being around such nice people. Customer service plays a big part in a successful business. Thank you so much for all the help. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I've never had to wait longer than I wanted to, the atmosphere is welcoming even... in the waiting room. Selection is too notch, they have a huge variety of growers and forms of medicine. Y'know. Medicine. Anyways, this place rocks. 👍👍 Plus people who work here are all cute. So that's a win. 🥳read more
