I waited 2 hours for the order confirmation, then I was told the wait for the actual waiting line will be 30 min, and that the wait to pickup your product will just be one hour. 3 hours later you guys are closed and I haven't heard a word from anyone I understand things are busy and demand is high, but a little transparency would be nice. Tell me that you're not able to fulfill my order and come back tomorrow, or be straight up and tell me it probably won't happened today.Waste of timeread more

As a recreational user, sometimes difficult to make a purchase online for pickup. However, Sunnyside offers 55+ buyers special hours. From 10-12 daily. First, place your order from East location and cross the street for fullfilment. Waiting time averages 45mins start to finish. Cresco Labs, the parent company has excellent products.read more

They have a pretty decent process down. Everyone complaining about the wait, deal with it. All of this cannabis stuff is new to IL thus the higher demand. I’d recommend they reduce the number of orders though just to help with the crowding.read more

This place is a little disorganized, but I could have handled that if I felt at all safe going there. People in line had masks, but none of the workers inside did, or if they did, they were wearing them improperly under the nose. The spaces inside are very small, and for a store that sells to chronically ill people and who allegedly cares for their employees, they should be doing better to protect everyone. Masks only work if everyone wears them. I will not go back, and if you're concerned about being exposed, you shouldn't go there eitherread more

I would give them no stars if possible. Website states orders must be placed online before you arrive due to the corona situation. For 3 days I have items in my cart and checking the website every 30 minutes all the site says is that the online order window is closed but you can add items to the cart. Waited 2 days, never able to check out. Send an email to their customer service and I get back a copy and paste email stating that if I cannot check out by the end of the weekend to send them another email. For what I don’t know as I am sure they would not do anything about it. Been to Cali, Vegas, Colorado all those states do it significantly better than this place and in Illinois. There prices here are also more than normal street prices, which is not the case in the other states listed above. Brought my business to another shop and they were able to assist me in a timely fashion. And by my surprise that place had 4.8’stars. I can under stand why this place has 3 stars. Should be less than that. Tried calling them no answer either.read more

Don’t believe the negativity online, because people only post the poor experiences. Today they told me a wait of an hour and I was out in less than half of that. Fast, friendly and efficient. Keep your expectations realistic and you won’t be disappointed.read more

We arrived for the first time and the outside security guards were a bit brash (like, sorry your job is to tell people the same thing over and over, but you chose this life!). They use Aurelio's as a waiting area, we were directed there. The people inside were much more pleasant. We waited about 30 minutes but were told it would be 1.5 hours, so that's good crowd management. Menu is a bit limited but that's understandable when this is how you get products. You have to make it simple. Hopefully they will have more options when the process is better. Cresco is their supplier so everything is over-packaged (and you pay for that!) but high quality. Overall, wold go back. Maybe not during baseball season tho.read more

Tried to go for the second time yesterday, unsuccessfully, at around 5pm - we weren't upset since we were kind of expecting long lines or out of stock inventory BUT, unprompted, an employee saw that we were turned away by security and stopped to talk to us about the best available times to come by and gave us information about what they had in stock. He was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. We will try again soon, it's clear that you've got a good thing going with employees who genuinely care about their customers.read more

The ppl are great. Execution was good given the huge restrictions they’re working with. But I will not be returning until they get supply sorted out. The $77 eighth I got was minuscule. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that it weighed but it was basically a $40 transaction on the black market. That’s what I can’t get past - the value I lost by shopping there (not to mention the 3+ hours in line). But I wanted to be a part of this historic moment. Maybe in a year or two things will be much better. Hopefully sooner. I saw that in Colorado they have $20 eighths (pretax).read more

Great experience. Went here opening weekend and the line was long, but their security staff is great. The people from the shop brought us food and drink which was really appreciated by everyone. The staffers were really friendly and social and helped make an otherwise stressful situation like being in line that long not so bad. A+ all around.read more

Okay so the Sunnyside staff did an AMAZING job with the crowds for recreational. They rented an extra space across from the dispensary for people to wait inside to get out of the cold. They came around with hand warmers, water, oranges, hot dogs, trail mix, etc. This is hard for any company to manage and they did as much as they could to keep things moving and people happy!! HIGHLY recommend!!!read more

What a great experience! Even with the whole 4 hour wait it was absolutely worth it. To make sure we’re ok the staff was handing out hot dogs, water and candy while waiting. Perfectly organized and the staff is amazing so well informed. Definitely my to go dispensaryread more

I arrived around 4:30, waited about an hour and a half outside to get into a room with a huge line still in front of me. There, we were told that we could only get a gram of flower (which I understand, but still) AND that it would "probably" be "about two hours" before we could get to the actual dispensary. It was all very smoothly run and everyone was nice but it would probably have been a good thing if they'd told us about the purchase limits and additional wait BEFORE we'd spent so long waiting outside. My advice is, wait a few months before stopping in unless you have time to kill. And pack a lunch. (Also, I later learned people who’d arrived before me were turned away after waiting a further 2 hours or so....)read more

I arrived around 4:30 and waited about an hour and a half outside to get into a room with more of a line still in front of me. This is where we were told that we could only get a gram of flower at this stage (which I understand, but still) AND that it would "probably" be "about two hours" before we could get to the actual dispensary. It was all very smoothly run and everyone was nice but it would probably have been a good thing if they'd told us about the purchase limits and additional wait BEFORE we'd spent so long waiting outside. So, my advice is, wait for a few months before stopping in unless you have lots of free time. And pack a lunch.read more

My first experience was on Jan 1st. I joined the line and was one of the first 200 customers. I was very impressed with how well organized, prepared, and staffed they were given the circumstances. During our 40 min wait outside staff handed out free hand warmers in below freezing temps, and t shirts. Once inside the borrowed space next to the dispensary people in line were offered free coffee, hot chocolate, and pastries. The order form and copies of the menu were handed out and people were available to ask questions about the products and the ordering process. Although most people waited about 3 hours and in some cases even more the entire experience was overall manageable and not unbearable. Once inside the dispensary the guards scanning IDs were very polite and respectful. The cashiers were very friendly and helpful. Some items were already out of stock after only being open 3 hours but the suggested alternatives were just as good. The service was way above expectations given the chaos of being the first day and the volume of people who showed up. The price was fair compared to other dispensaries. Last but not least I’ve only been able to try the black cherry chocolate bar and it was very very good.read more

They used to have great selection of flower and good prices. Now only a few to choose from and only like 2 or 3 1/8’s. Rest are one grams and very expensive. You get 2 stars because I like the people that work there they are very nice. If it doesn’t get better soon there will be many more shops to choose from.read more

I'm becoming less enamored with this place. The selection of products is going down and they no longer sell flower in anything bigger than 1/8's which means I don't buy flower from them at all anymore. Discounts seem to have been totally eliminated, both the $25 rebate for every $500 spent and no more discounts on on-line orders, which is no great loss as the on-line menu rarely matches what's actually on hand, so I'm about ready to give that up; it's not faster, easier or cheaper for me, so why bother? I'm in the market for a new dispo, tbh.read more

Prices continue to rise and they removed online discounting which was enough to offset the cost when you spent enough. The staff is friendly and understanding, but the atmosphere always seems depressing compared to months before. I hope good changes are made soon.read more

They have amazing variety and huge selection in comparison to other menus I looked at when originally considering my dispensary. When I first started going there I would've rated it a 5; the staff were super personable and they regularly had great specials that always had me coming back. Now, the staff has completely changed and the specials aren't as good. Small free samples are a thing of the past and the items I liked are less available. It doesn't have as inviting of an atmosphere as it once had, and I'm not sure I can put my finger on one single thing. It's still good, but not the same medmar I once loved.read more
