Slowest service I've ever seen in, incorrectly tallied totals... that change at the checkout (resulting in double ATM fees if you only got out enough based on the first total you see and since they don't take debit like any modern dispensary). This location has gone from a cold, rude, unpleasant place to visit (manager/front of house) a few months ago to My... Very Favorite Dispensary. The difference is drastic. A little longer wait than other places I've been but it IS right off the expressway soooo I... guess that's a good thing for them 🙂 prices there do include tax if you order online - or I should say it's a close estimate to what your total with tax will be. All the dispensaries seem to have pretty similar pricing; within a few dollars of each other. The only 2 things I would change are not being able to tip the employees and not having a special for certain days of the week like some other places do. I check there website which says they are open until 9 pm and in-store shopping. Such a knowledgeable and warm staff for the first three times I’ve been here! This last time I went in it was evident... that most of the employees did not care about actual customer service. It was the polar opposite of what I experienced before. The young lady who “helped” me this time was not helpful and had lackluster knowledge to successfully address my questions. It was a little frustrating because most seemed more intent on sharing stories from each other’s life. Some employees were on their phones talking to the gentlemen who helped me, delaying my transaction. It felt like I came into a place of business that had hired a brand new staff and owner. Consistency is key for repeat business and I highly recommend making phones exclusively for break time. There were 3 people in the back and just myself. Another issue is that the drawer did not have the proper change/cash back. Three people standing around talking and on their phones? I’ve never had a job where it’s ok to use your cellphone while working. Just because someone may consume marijuana does not necessarily qualify them to be working at this business. The lack of professional conduct was surprising. It more quality than quantity and I hope that these words can be constructive criticism because the staff, besides Eric on 8/14, was largely not invested in their work and it showed. Been coming here almost 2 years now and I've NEVER considered another medical dispensary. My first visit was... unbelievable -- I was nervous, uncertain of what to expect in general, and far more lacking in knowledge than I realized, but I was welcomed with the most open arms, treated like family, educated without being made to feel inferior, and they have treated me like this EVERY time I've gone in since then. I've talked with other patients in the waiting area on occasion who all also love this place. They're clean, efficient, quick to get you in and out even if it's busy, but always, always take as much time as needed to answer whatever questions or concerns you have, and do it kindly with a smile on their faces. Covid times have only seemed to make them better at everything they do. They know their stuff! If you have a medical reason for marijuana, keep renewing your card, and come here! Recreational prices and taxes are a joke! With a medical need, the cost of the card every year is well worth it, and more so, in my opinion, by coming here. I am not going to drive 90 minutes to pay twice the price for a cart I can get on the black market for half the price. BUT living in Kenosha I would drive to Zion, Waukegan or Gurnee. The good- the staff is nice. The facility is nice. The bad- they have just released that they will no longer post... product to leafly if less than 5 of the items are in stock. Besides that, you’ll find that a good portion of the staff is not knowledgeable. The prices are too high for the quality they provide. You’ll find a lack of indica products as well. The menu is updated periodically but I have found it to be erroneous on numerous occasions. They have awkward product handling procedures regarding customers; you can look at the product but can not touch it. Personal knowledge of the product by the staff is not abundant. They do not have much luck getting anything other than their own product and here and there usually from ACE/REV. I’ve been to over 7 medical dispensaries in Illinois over the past year, and I would put verilife as the second worst one, everything considered. As a parting note, for those of us looking for professionalism in our dispensary, it is highly lacking there.read more
