Been coming here for years. There’s been many changes, some good, some not so much. This year however, things have really improved here. COVID not withstanding, this place finally found its “groove”, and it shows. Awesome customer loyalty program (finally!) and inventory selection has grown quite a bit. Online appointment is easy. Pick what you want, enter pick up time and contact info. I did that, got there and waited about a minute or so for parking. There’s only a limited amount of spots but security re-directs you to a waiting area for cars. When a car pulls out, you go in- simple enough. I got in and out in 5 minutes total and very minimal line (went around 9:30 AM). Flower is always fresh and I always check the dates, the earliest one was from August so that’s great.Staff is really nice and overall very seamless process. My order was set to go and no time taken from getting it in the back or something. I prefer this location over the Aurora one. Hoping they can come close to Chicago.Edit: they have a full parking lot now across the place so no parking issues.read more

Got attended by Amber and let me tell you she’s the best! Always with positive energy and loves to move quick. She’s on top of things. While I was there she hooked me up with a battery for a cartridge I bought and couldn’t use because of a special battery. Lucky for me Amber went out of her way to look because they ran out of this brand and she found one! While checking out she mentioned their specials and deals which most don’t. At first I was nervous about trying dispensary Herb. However coming here, the employees were very knowledgeable about each strain. They were very nice and helped me out as a first time buyer. *qc alert*. I went here on a Sunday morning right at open as a rec customer. I personally thought the staff was friendly and the manager Katie was accommodating as well. HOWEVER, I cannot say that I was satisfied with the product itself. Ordered a half gram cart of razzmatazz and it came half empty. After explaining the Situation to the manager I was able to get a second cart. Same issue. Not even remotely full. And comparing the two carts side to side, they're NOT EVEN FILLED THE SAME AMOUNT. Take a look at my picture and decide for yourself. I hope that this doesn't affect more people as one of these costs ~85 bucks after tax(rec). So easy to order online and choose a pick up time. There was a very short line to get inside and as soon as I walked to the cashier my order was ready. Everyone there was so nice and helpful! Pricing can be high but that’s typical of recreational in Illinois and can’t really be avoided at the moment. But to offset it they had a $20 off $150 special which was nice.read more

I wanted to try this place, i normaly go to the one in north aurora, i went here because they have the natures grace 7g shake critical cure, which i do like, i probably will just go back to n aurora next time, because it is the smoothest i have saw in operation , this one was ok. but anyone who has been to jail, will know what i am talking about, this is to ridgid of a process im picking up bud not getting ready to be booked ,, you come in you have to wait till a certain amount leave the room then a locked door opens and then you are waiting on marking on the floor to wait to purchase as they take your order, the lady was real nice but about , the process seemed real ridgid. i picked p 3 quarters knowing IF i did come back it would be a while..a shame that the prices are so high also for medical patients, they should way heavier on the costs to the recreational...read more

If you're medical...think twice. I am a Medical Marijuana program participant. I transferred my dispensary from 3C Joliet because Verilife Romeoville was much CLOSER & more convenient. 3C Joliet always gave me handsome discounts based on my past purchases. Here's what I've learned (valuable lesson). There is NO DISCOUNT PROGRAM, like every other dispensary for medical patients. Even the other Verilife loctions use a discount/frequent flyer program called "Belly" for their medical patients. ROMEOVILLE VERILIFE IS THE ONLY DISPO THAT DOES NOT WORK WITH MEDICAL PATIENTS TO PROVIDE INCENTIVES OR DISCOUNTS. (Even though their other locations DO!!!) Close by...but BYE-BYE Verilife Romeoville. I'll shop anywhere else!!! NEVER AGAIN. ‍read more

This the best one but why do you guys wait until people get up to the counter to pick the items this just adds way to much time. Makes ticket system pointless. Also did "pickup" for 1st time and the car line was down the block, no different than scheduling a regular appointment, the convenience doesn't show anywhere. As a medical patient, I should not be getting flower LOADED with SEEDS! Spent $50+ on an 8th of Ascend" early lemon berry" and its nothing but seeds. This should be sold and labeled as a male or hermie plant. That's the least you can do is inform medical patients there paying for a ton of seeds..I am very irritated about this and have no choice but to smoke this now. This is the only dispensary I’ve visited in Illinois and I’ve been here 3 times since recreational was legalized and I don’t think I need to try any other locations. The employees are always nothing but friendly and kind and in such good moods. Today was the first day of online ordering and of course there were a few hiccups but everyone there was super quick to work out the kinks. Gone here around 6 times. 3/6 times they did not have what they were selling online. I traveled pretty far to get there just for them not to have what they were advertising online. It specifically says on their site that if it’s on the website they have atleast 5 of them in store. Don’t you love when a company lies right to your face?Environment is depressing. Took a trip all the way to get my order and half of my order wasn't there even though they said it was and said it was ready for pick up. Odd experience for sure. Very, very quick and efficient quality stuff. Nothing like other dispensaries I've been to in other states though. Kinda felt rushed through, didn't get to see anything before you buy it, just a little notepad sided menu (text only). I'm guessing it's just because of Illinois State, corona, or a combo of the two so I wont fault them for that. Could've been friendlier and more welcoming though.read more

The products are great but the service is not. It seems everyone there smokes far too much. I have a medical card but have been denied entry recently due to not having an IL state ID/driver's license. This is after I have visited a dozen times previously with no issue, and even after the manager of this location approved my entry and assured me there would be no problems going forward. The next time, he decided it was against company policy. Clearly no one here even understands the company's policies since the Aurora and Ottawa locations have had no problems. The consistency problems go beyond this as well since I was told that I could contact the call center to have a product held, only to contact the call center at a later time to be told it is against company policy to hold products. What a joke especially when the website claims "we believe everyone should have access".read more

Imagine dealing with employees that guide traffic not wearing a mask during a pandemic and having them make you roll down your window thinking they will tell you where to park but they just talk directly in your face about nonsense. Can I even get a disability or a veteran's discount for recreational when medical already gets a huge discount and January 1st they allowed for the disability and Veteran discount but then did away with it which I feel is greedy. They are literally my neighbors and I would rather drive 45 minutes away two places that will give me discount and treat me nicer like not having to wait in line when I have Parkinson's and have to walk with a cane but seems this place is always no no no no. And they really do not care that I am taking my business of 300 to $600 per visit someplace else ... when they could have that visit and business at least 3 times a month. I have literally left in tears from the way I was spoken to and treated compared to January 1st when I first started visiting them.read more

This is an extremely organized dispensary. The POPO are present to help run things smoothly and peacefully. And they do , helping us and the employees of the dispensary. I am giving this dispensary 2 stars because the staff was awesome! Seriously! the dispensary, very stark and sterile looking. The prices were high and no sales or specials. I specifically asked this question being a medical patient. With my card, there is a 10-15% savings but there was a very limited menu. In all fairness, this was just after use became legal as recreational. I will try again in a few months.read more

Here is my review of my first visit to this, or any dispensary for recreational marijuana since Illinois legalized it. I expected a line and a wait, but I wasn't sure for how long or what I was really in for when I got there, so I went with very low expectations. With that in mind, I was in for a treat! When I arrived there was a decent size line outside to get into the store, maybe 25 people, but to my surprise it went quickly and I was outside for a total of 20 minutes. While in line, you get a menu to peruse and place your order for when you get in to speed up the process. The menu was limited for now, but still had a decent variety and amount of items to order. Once inside, you get into another line that eventually leads you to a cashier who then gathers the items for your order. They all seem very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming, inside and out. My cashier rung up my order and bagged up my items and I paid. With a very nice "Enjoy and have a great day!", I was on my way. A painless process that I will undoubtedly repeat!Altogether my visit was about 30 minutes or so, much less than I anticipated and only about half of it was outside. I really enjoy this place! As I said, I will definitely be coming back. The staff was friendly, the prices were slightly lower than the other dispensaries I've researched, and you go home with a smile on your face! I'm a proponent of recreational cannabis however, the changes have resulted in what feels like the focus is for recreational customers first at the dispensary. Sure, I get to go directly in because I have a medical card but, the medical selection is horrible, worse the recreational menu is substantially better. I get it, the recreational line was across the street, along the outside of the dispensary and inside as well, somewhere around 60 recreational customers at 11:30 on a Saturday morning. God bless you guys, I'm sure you're awesome for rec but, no longer the place for medicinal customers. I've changed dispensaries but, I appreciate your assistance in the past.read more

The set up was pretty good. I got there a little after opening on Saturday morning (around 9:30 am) and got out at around 11. Would give it around 4 stars for that.What makes this place 5 stars is the service. I saw an issue with some product when I got home and opened it. I contacted customer service, and they forwarded this on to the Romeoville dispensary with no guarantees. Within two hours, the manager of the location called me to tell me that they’d work with me to get it replaced. These were extraordinary circumstances, but they made sure that I got what I paid for. It’s worth paying more for this level of reliability. I’m really happy with everything!read more

45 min wait, not bad at all; the staff was super friendly while hanging out with us. My disappointment is you don't get to see the flower. And there are no descriptions on the menu your given outside while you wait. Your expected to order off the menu outside and go in and pick it up. My second visit here and they have really worked all the kinks out. The staff is great, and very helpful. The selection is amazing! I noticed they have alot more variety than they advertise on their website. Waited about a hour or so. Will definitely be back again soon.read more

Went last night around 5 and waited for 45 mins (not bad at all)! While waiting in line they had menu cards to fill out and corresponded the menu card with a ticket. Made the process way faster! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Will return!read more

Illinois consumers be advised - Unfortunately in California and Colorado, the prices are *significantly lower & the state-regulated THC levels are definitely a bit higher, no pun intended.With that said... The recently remodeled (👍) Verilife store itself is located in a small space at the edge of an industrial area.Product selection can be limited, and is based entirely upon a text-only description displayed on a monitor, unfortunately with no photos or other helpful images (in lieu of being able to actually see/smell any of this precious herb, which in Illinois is approximately the same price per gram as gold). Staff does their best to be professional and polite, but things CAN get really busy, so be prepared. Live and learn.Smoke em if you got em. ✌️read more

Although the eager young staff (mostly new hires) seem superficially "perky" enough, overall this is not a particularly sociable place, as one might expect to find from a cannabis-focused business trying to establish a reputation for superior customer service in a newly developing and extremely competitive market. This critical observation is based upon videos of other dispensaries shot in California and Colorado, where the prices are *significantly lower & the state-regulated THC levels are definitely a bit higher, no pun intended.The Verilife store itself is located in a small space in an industrial area. Once inside there is more of a currency exchange kind of vibe, complete with a multi-doored entrance portal (ala "Get Smart" ) and bullet-proof transaction windows.Product selection is limited, and based entirely upon a text-only description displayed on a large monitor, with no photos or other helpful images (in lieu of being able to actually see/smell any of this precious herb, which in Illinois is approximately the same price per gram as gold). Customers are required to present the *same state-issued IDs, to the *same person, to be scanned on *3 separate occasions, in order to complete 1 typical *cash-only purchase. (This tedious redundancy may or may not be state-mandated, but I sort of doubt it.) There certainly are other dispensary options in this area which may be worth exploring, despite the cumbersome process of re-registration with the state.Live and learn.Onwards through the fog.read more

Had to go check it out for the first of the year!! After 10am -8pm wait we have both come to the conclusion it was worth the wait!! Products are AMAZING!! I will unfortunately be waiting a few weeks to let the hype die down. I will be back!! And for all the complaining patrons we were FAIRLY warned about the time restrictions.. we got lucky and were in the last few groups to get inside... thanks to the staff and the RPD for they hard work and dedication to us!! 👍🏻read more

Will not be returning to this dispensary and would not recommend. After spending seven hours in line, and being assured by owners we made the cut off (police officer in back directing people away) and would be able to get into the shop and purchase product - Half an hour before nine when they had to stop selling, we were told to go home. No explanation. No voucher. Coupons. Anything. I found this and their whole set up to be totally unprofessional. They had more than enough opportunity to get everyone in line in and out - and through lack of utilizing resources available to them (mobile check out, time limits, separate lines for people who needed to use the ATM, not allowing anymore than a group of ten in at a time, and then not allowing another group in until they all left) and complete disregard for their customers, a group of us (some who had traveled hours) were turned away for seemingly no reason at all. Stay away from this place.read more

Midwest Compassion excels at what they do. Customer service is top notch, selection is always good and they always have sales so even budget minded patients can get what they need at a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to fellow patients and I would argue that they are one of the best if not the best dispensary in Illinois.read more

Update 12/27/2019: The customer service is still great but product availability has taken a nose dive. Almost no flower available for almost a month in anticipation of recreational sales. Can't be a great dispensary if you don't have product to sell and withholding to sell to recreational users on 1/1/20 as opposed to medical users who need the medication rubs me the wrong way. Makes you wonder what will happen if there is a shortage again in the future?---------------------------------------------------------Midwest Compassion has been my dispensary for almost a year now and they continue to excel at what they do.
